KNMI Ancam Ajukan Kasus Wetar ke Mabes Polri
[ 7HPTMK5UU89P ][ 95be95be12794456b5baef462b1addbf ]Majelis Pertimbangan Organisasi (MPO) Komite Nasional Masyarakat Indonesia (KNMI) minta Polda Maluku memeriksa PT. Batu Tua Kharisma dan PT. Batu Tua Tembaga Raya yang diduga mengekspor tembaga dari Pulau Wetar, Maluku Barat Daya (MBD) ke Thailand tanpa ijin. Polda Maluku harus memeriksa dua perusahaan ini karena telah mengekspor tembaga yang ditambang di Pulau Wetar ke Thailand secara diam-diam. Bila tidak (diperiksa), kami akan meneruskannya ke Mabes Polri, kata anggota KNMI pusat, Semmy Matulessy, di Ambon, Jumat. Matulessy yang juga Koordinator pusat Gerakan Anti Korupsi (GAK) Pro Susilo Bambang Yudoyono, Bidang Hukum, HAM dan Advokasi, mengaku pihaknya sudah mengantongi sejumlah bukti ekspor tembaga dari Pulau Wetar yang dilakukan dua perusahaan tersebut, tetapi selama ini dua perusahaan tersebut mengaku baru mengambil sampel untuk diuji laboratorium. Data itu, katanya, merupakan laporan masyarakat yang bermukim di sekitar kawasan pertambangan di Pulau Wetar, bulan lalu (September 2010), dan bukti data ekspor tembaga asal Wetar ke Thailand dari kantor Bea dan Cukai Surabaya, Jawa Timur. Ia menyatakan, dari data yang diperoleh kedua perusahaan itu diketahui masuk ke Pulau Wetar sejak 2006 untuk melakukan eksplorasi, sedangkan eksploitasi mulai dilakukan 15 Mei 2009, dan diperkirakan sudah ratusan ton tembaga yang diekspor melalui pelabuhan Tanjung Perak Surabaya. Data ekspor yang kami terima dari Bea dan Cukai Surabaya tercatat dua perusahaan ini sudah melakukan delapan kali ekspor ke Thailand sejak 2009, di mana sekali ekspor sebanyak 40 ribu ton dengan nilai Rp14 miliar, katanya. Matulessy mengakui, telah bertemu dengan Gubernur Maluku Karel Albert Ralahalu untuk melaporkan hasil temuan tersebut, dan Gubernur telah memanggil Kadis Energi dan sumber Daya Mineral (ESDM) Maluku, Bram Tomasoa untuk mengklarifikasinya. Gubernur Ralahalu maupun Kadis ESDM Maluku mengaku tidak mengetahui perkembangan eksploitasi pertambangan tembaga yang dilakukan dua perusahaan tersebut di Wetar, katanya. Matulessy mengakui, beberapa waktu lalu pimpinan dua perusahaan itu memberikan informasi resmi bahwa perusahaannya baru melakukan pengambilan sampel untuk dilakukan uji laboratorium tentang kandungan tembaga yan g tersedia, padahal perusahaan patungan dengan investor Australia itu telah mengeksploitasi lempengan tembaga dan diekspor ke liar negeri. Ia juga mempertanyakan masuknya peralatan produksi pertambangan di Pulau Wetar, karena tidak pernah diketahui kantor Bea Cukai Ambon. Pihak Bea cukai Ambon tidak mengetahui masuknya peralatan produksi tambang di Wetar karena belum pernah dilaporkan. kami pun akan mengeceknya ke kantor Bea Cukai Pusat, tandas Matulessy. Sehubungan dengan itu, dia meminta Polda Maluku untuk memanggil pimpinan dua perusahaan itu untuk diperiksa, karena diduga telah melakukan kejahatan.
