Anthony I Calvaresi

This past Saturday, Carmelo Anthony was marrying LaLa Vasquez, an MTV VJ. Cool weekend plans, I suppose. Since Melo is a big-time NBA baller, he attracted more than a few celebrities to his New York City nuptials: Kim Kardashian, Spike Lee, Ludacris, and, oh LeBron James. Also, some interesting comments from CP3 about a new Big 3 to form in NYC.

Hopkins' signature role was Dr. Hannibal Lecter in "Silence of the Lambs," then again in "Hannibal" and "Red Dragon." I did not sleep well for a couple nights after watching "Silence." Look at the grid of Hopkins' many terrifying faces, and you might lose a few winks too.

Rep. Anthony Weiner finally made his last media stop of the day, this time sitting down with Rachel Maddow-- who interviewed Rep. Weiner just as his Twitter account released a skimpy underwear photo. Maddow was by far the least combative of his interviewers, and the approach seemed to have paid off. This time, instead of I don't know, the Congressman told Maddow that it is possible that the photo was of him and had been taken out of context.

My favorite chef/writer Anthony Bourdain tells why the food network is not a place where 'real cooks' are shown....."I find myself riveted by its awfulness, like watching a multi-car accident in slow motion. I first heard this joke when I was at a dinner with a bunch of other Iraq veteran's. Someone said the joke and we all cracked up laughing. So it may be a joke...
