Every two years, we look at the candidates who have raised the most money while trying to represent us. In this year's midterms, the representatives from each party are Charles Schumer (D-NY)—who is a shoo-in to keep his seat and has raised the most money of any Democrat—and Marco Rubio (R-FL) who is running against an independent former governor as well as a Democrat, and leading handily. This is what they would look like if they were forced to campaign in suits that made it clear to the world who their sponsors were, just like NASCAR drivers.

Senators Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) and Mike Lee (R-Utah) have introduced a bill that would give residence visas to foreign citizens who spend at least $500,000 to buy houses in the U.S. Here's how it works: In order to qualify, a foreign citizen would have to spend at least $500,000 on residential real estate. All $500,000 could be spent on one house, or as little as $250,000 could be spent on one residence and the remainder on residential real estate that could be rented out. In exchange, the purchasers would be granted residency visas.
