Shawn Corey Carter. Otherwise known as "Jay-Z" and my biggest inspiration. My brothers have always loved Jay-Z so I've basically grown up listening to him my whole life but I remember the day that changed my whole life. It was the day that not only did i fall in love with Jay-Z, but i fell in love with music. It was was January 13, 2008 at 7pm. My brother and I were in the car and "No hook" off of his "American Gangster" album was blasting in the CD player. I started really listening to the lyrics and realized how intricate and detailed they were and how he stringed words together so beautifully and i realized that you had to be quite special to be able to have a talent like that. Since that day, he's been my idol. He's helped me through the toughest times of my life. I would do anything to meet him and winning a conversation with him would be more than a dream come true. I would tell him how he has changed my life and has changed hip-hop as a culture. I would have a normal conversation with him just to let him know that I exist and how much he means to his fans. It would be a conversation of a lifetime. And it'll only be possible if you vote for me! Please make my dream come true!
