"We must never forget our history," Leonardo DiCaprio warns in this brand new trailer for J. Edgar.

Oscar blogs were all a-froth earlier this year when it was announced that Leonardo DiCaprio was on board to star as J. Edgar Hoover in a biopic of the first director of the FBI, helmed by the not inconsiderable Clint Eastwood.

Last year, Leonardo DiCaprio announced that production on his next film J. Edgar would begin sometime around February of 2011. True to his word, filming has begun and we’ve got our first look at the actor transformed into the title character.
