This projects explore how class-specific information can help to solve problems in image synthesis (Computer Graphics), image analysis (Computer Vision) and 3D shape processing.

Photographer Jason E. Powell is reviving historic photos by going back to the actual place where they have been taken and then inserting that old image in the landscape of a new photo. The results are spectacular -- some sites have the same building facades as they did back in the late 1800s and early 1900s, while other sites have lost all their historic elements.

Mansome is intriguing. It’s produced by Jason Bateman and Will Arnett (who make appearances along with Paul Rudd, Zack Galifianakis, and several other dudes I’d like to have a beer with) and covers the subject of male identity in the 21st century.
