The annual award show celebrated its fortieth anniversary and the show had plenty of entertainers who partied during the broadcast. Considered Canada\u00e2\u0080\u0099s biggest night in music, the two-and-a-half hour show shared with fans the highlights of the year.There were some clear cut favorites that brought home multiple awards. Arcade Fire won four awards including \u00e2\u0080\u0098Album of the Year\u00e2\u0080\u0099 and \u00e2\u0080\u0098Group of the Year.\u00e2\u0080\u0099 Neil Young took home three awards including a special \u00e2\u0080\u0098Allan Waters Humanitarian award\u00e2\u0080\u0099 for his work helping others. In what some considered a shock, Young also won \u00e2\u0080\u0098Artist of the Year.\u00e2\u0080\u0099 Justin Bieber took home two awards including the shoe-in \u00e2\u0080\u0098Fan Choice Award\u00e2\u0080\u0099 where fans voted online.The show was hosted by hip hop artist Drake and had the eyes of Canada watching to see who would take home an award and who would leave empty handed.
