Not only was Shatner's info in there, so was Nimoy's, Carl Sagan's secretary, Astronaut Walter (Wally) Schirra, his wife (Majel) mobile phone number, all the numbers to house phones at his house, many relatives (surprisingly a lot are doctors in Georgia... does that make you think or what?!) and much, much more. I'm sure most if not all of the data here is very outdated and many of the people are no longer with us that are included on the cards, but it's cool anyway. I'm hoping to get a chance to shoot a photo of the actual Rolodex sometime, if he feels it is safe enough to bring it to work. What a treasure! Once a small circle of people found themselves wondering, as a business matter, how they could keep Bill Shatner from getting fat. They were the producers of Star Trek, and they wrote letters and memos about the problem. Some of these documents, probably not all of them, have survived and can be read at UCLA. They’re buried in the 35 boxes of letters, memos, call sheets, daily status reports, dubbing reports, scripts, revised scripts, story outlines, revised story outlines and newspaper clippings that Gene Roddenberry, Star Trek’s creator, gave to the university.

From "communicator"-style flip phones, to medical imaging, to space-craft propulsion, Gene Roddenbury's impact has been nothing less than spectacular. Imagine how things would have been different without his vision ... I refuse to acknowledge it as William Shatner's vision.

Back in 1976 Gene Roddenberry released an album called "Inside Star Trek" which included conversations with many Trek luminaries and others, it didn't sell that well, but was released on CD in 1999.
